Established in 1992 Edinburgh Napier University is a public university in Edinburgh, Scotland. Founded as Napier Technical College in 1964. It was granted the university status in the year 1992 as Napier University. Institution's name was changed four times before it finally adopted the current title in 2009. It also has affiliations from the European University Association (EUA), Universities UK and Universities Scotland.

The university has three campuses Sighthill, Merchiston, and Craiglockhart. The university offers a variety  of programs in law , education, arts, MBA, Engineering, Computer science ,applied sciences, tourism, management, health, and  social service. It also extends a range of courses in creative studies such as graphic design, music, communication, publishing, filming, acting, and product design.
